There is never a doubt about Thais’ love for the King

It’s been 60 years since His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the longest-reigning monarch in the world, came to power. He is adored and revered by Thais in every corner in the kingdom, most of whom have never known life under another king.
Always working hard for the benefit of his people, the King has travelled to every part of the country to improve the lives of his people, especially the poor in remote areas.
His Majesty has also helped the country weather several critical crises, from 1992’s Black May to 2003’s Phnom Penh riots to the latest political chaos. Without the King’s guiding hand, Thailand would not be what it is today.
In honour of the 60th anniversary of the King’s reign, Student Weekly asked some of his loyal subjects what heartfelt messages they would like to send to the King on this happy occasion.
